HandwritingWriting is one of the driving passions in my life, enriching each day and energising me for other pursuits, even on those days when every word is hard to find.

Like countless others around the world, I owe a debt of gratitude to Julia Cameron for her book, The Artist’s Way. My daily practice of writing morning pages blossomed into creative writing; perhaps one day my work will be published.

Computers have transformed the craft of writing: the ease with which we can redraft, recast and rearrange our words and stories. But like many writers, I still jot research and development notes in a battered notebook that travels in my laptop bag.
